Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AP Disbursement & Batch Processing Analyst with strong disbursement experience to support a high-volume AP department responsible for processing several million dollars in payments daily. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable managing large batches of payments with accuracy and urgency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume AP disbursements, including paper checks, ACH, wire transfers, and batch uploads.
  • Manage daily payment cycles and ensure all disbursements are completed accurately and on time.
  • Handle batch processing of invoices and payment files.
  • Research uncashed checks, perform stop-payments, and reissue payments as needed.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal controls around disbursement activity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or payment-related questions.
  • Assist with ad-hoc AP and disbursement tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, with a strong focus on high-volume disbursements.
  • Prior experience processing checks, ACH, and wire payments.
  • Ability to manage large payment batches with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot payment issues and discrepancies.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-transaction environment without becoming overwhelmed.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience researching, resolving, and reissuing uncashed or incorrect payments preferred.
